The historic Mission Inn in Riverside, California is not only a great place to visit or stay, but the food matches the vibe. Sunday Brunch is definitely something you will want to experience. Even though the cost is high ($42 for adults) the high quality of the food justifies the expense.

You will find tender and delicious rib eye that is hand carved. Another beef item, teriyaki with fingerling potatoes, were also noteworthy. A fresh seafood bar featuring two types of shrimp with a tangy sauce fills up the plate nicely. Two kinds of civeche were also available.

Pastries were expertly prepared. Cakes, breakfast specialties like croissants and danishes added to the experience.

All of the food is located inside but the best seating areas are in one of the two patios that are located nearby. Light jazz music also helps to take you to another place while you eat.

The brunch is served every Sunday from 9:30AM to 2:00PM. Reservations are recommended as it fills up quickly.
